I totally agree with this post, we sell retro sweets and truly believe they are a great reward or gift but we wouldnt advise anyone to live on them!!!

To quote the above, “An excess of sweets is bad. And excess of anything is bad” and it’s not just about the sweets, if you ate 1KG of lettuce everyday you would experience some health issues!

I love the calendars and have ordered 9! Unfortunately I put one birthday wrong Helen 55 should be on April 16th not 17th. I did go back in and change it after the payment transaction so I’m hoping that will work. Can you help me?

What a good site for recipes! I have found loads of really good recipes that I can do with my grand sons, as well as quick and easy ones to do for ‘him in-doors’.

Hi, this is a lovely website, I have found some fantastic recipes which i havent managed to find anywhere else. Ah and about the children going back to school and the hols being too long, bare yourselves lucky, i live in spain and here they have almost 3 months summer holiday!!!

Yes, I agree my children seem to get bored of the long holidays and start annoying each other. I think they are glad to be back at school and catch up with their friends.

Last week I cut out a check list of ingredients for 7 meals for the week from the Olive magazine. Delicious also do it and it was helpful to go to the supermarket and buy those ingredients which gave me the family meals for the week. Everyone enjoyed having a change from the normal day to day meals that become a habit like spaghetti bolognaise, chicken curry etc.

Maybe something like that could be added to mydish where parents can print of a list of ingredients and buy the produce at the supermarket needed to cook 7 meals for that week. I found it very helpful and spent less than I normally would buying random items.
